Beautiful illustrated postcard featuring this elegant lady who is wearing a large bonnet adorned with feathers and tied under her chin with black ribbon.  The hat matches the lady’s dress very well which is embellished with pink ribbon.  Interestingly, the lady possesses a cameo pendant.  I haven’t seen one yet in a postcard illustration, but they were very popular in society.

The card was printed in one of Germany’s states prior to Unification, probably Bavaria or Prussia.
