Art Deco Aquamarine Bracelet, Fahrner, Vermeil, Sterling Silver, Vintage Fine Jewelry
Unusual and rare Art Deco aquamarine bracelet designed by the famous German silversmith Fahrner. The emerald cut stones measure 1/2" in length, 1/4" wide. They are very likely to be paste or lab created stones as they are uniform in colour and flawless. Most Jewelry of this age utilised these stones to achieve the required Art Deco aesthetic. By today's terms, an enivonmentally friendly choice. The design of the bracelet is fabulous. I love the accentuating detail around the aquamarine stones. Those tiny marcasites give enough sparkle to catch the eye. They are set in curved millegrain mountings above the filigree panels of the bracelet. The stones are separated and balanced by fabulous open metal work rectangular stations. The sterling silver bracelet, finished in gold, is secured by a sturdy push in clasp. Stamped FAHRNER S25 with copyright symbol on the clasp.
