An early Victorian 18K gold ring, the craftsmanship has been heavily influenced by the trends at the time. The Victorians were very interested in classical history.

Sparkling 3 carat natural aquamarine gemstone set in a stunning classical band with high sides to the shanks which feature triangular shapes on either side . Although the stone stands 0.6cm above the finger the sides of the ring slope away quite steeply. It is very impressive with a fancy millegrain effect around the facade of the ring. Etruscan or Byzantine in style this would have been crafted late Georgian/ Early Victorian time.
