A stunning piece of vintage jewelry from Germany, this is an Art Nouveau coral bracelet with a vermeil finish over sterling silver.
This is a rare coral bracelet, a wonderful filigree link bracelet that originates from Pforzheim, a region historically reknown for high quality Art Nouveau work. Theodor Fahrner took over his father's business and workshop in Pforzheim.
The bracelet consists of five panels that feature various patterns of fine wire work. The links that connect the panels are very special as they also feature complimenting wire work. Each of the panels features a coral cabochon which enlivens the bracelet. The push in clasp is simply stamped 925. The push in clasp is a little unusual in that you need to hold the bracelet at an angle to release it. This means it is very secure. It also has a safety chain.
In very good vintage condition, there is slight wear of the vermeil across the bracelet but in no way detracts from the stylish beauty.Size
